Get Microsoft Office ready for Catalina, the next macOS 6 June 2019 While most Office users have nothing to worry about, there are big changes in the next macOS codenamed Catalina. MacOS v10.15 Catalina is out now for Mac computers and represents a major change. With the release of Catalina, Apple is now forcing any straggling users to finally switch over to using 64-bit apps. Those who have been clinging onto the 32-bit Microsoft Word 2011 are now out of.

- Microsoft Office version 2019 will be the last offline productivity suite with an onsite installation and system license. The company appears to have confirmed that MS Office 2019 will not have a successor. Simply put, Office 365 will now be the only option for users who want an office productivity suite from Microsoft.
- Microsoft AutoUpdate makes sure your copy of Office will always be up-to-date with the latest security fixes and improvements. If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber, you'll also receive the newest features and tools. Check for updates and install. Open an Office app such as Word, then on the top menu, click Help Check for Updates.
We often hear 'Will Office 2007 run on Windows 10?' and 'Does Office 2019 work with Windows 7?' We wish Microsoft had charts showing which Office versions work with which version of Windows, but they don't. So here's ours. (Older version? See compatibility charts for Windows XP and Vista.)

Summary

Does Microsoft Office 2019 Work With Catalina Vista

ISSUE
With the release of macOS 10.15 (aka Catalina), Apple has stopped supporting 32-bit applications on this new OS. If you have Office 2011, we recommend you upgrade to Office 365 or Office 2019.
You can import your Outlook 2011 data to the new version of Outlook. Important: An Outlook for Mac 2011 identity can only be imported into an empty Outlook for Mac profile. An empty profile is one where there are no other accounts or other data associated with it.
Here are the steps to create a new profile in Outlook for Mac: Note: These steps must be used with Outlook 2016 for Mac or Outlook 2019 for Mac.
Add a profile in Outlook for Mac
From Finder, open the Applications folder.
Ctrl+click or right-click Microsoft Outlook, and then select Show Package Contents.
Open Contents > SharedSupport, and then launch Outlook Profile Manager.
Select Create a new profile and then enter a name for the new profile.

Does Microsoft Office 2019 Work With Catalina Drive
Once the new profile is created, you can import your Outlook 2011 database. Go to this article Import email messages, contacts, and other items into Outlook for Mac and select the Import identities from Outlook for Mac 2011 drop down. Follow the steps to complete the import.
